Dr. Horowitz is a primary health care practitioner and a member in good standing, with the CCO, the organization that regulates her scope of practice. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1992, following a 3-year Bachelor of Science (neuroscience) degree from the University of Toronto.
Over the years following graduation, Dr. Horowitz continues to study various post-graduate continuing education courses related to foot biomechanics, prescribing custom-foot
orthotics, 3-Dimensional foot casting, using and analyzing TOG GaitScan™ technology. She continues to study specialized evidence-based treatments for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis based on seminars and observations of researcher Dr. Carlo Ammendolia of Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital.
At Toronto Orthotics, we specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the structure and function of the feet, spine, nervous system and other joints.
Doctor Leslie Horowitz takes the time to listen to each patient, gathering a full medical history. Rather than taking a “one-size fits all” approach, she provides quality 1:1 personalized care to patients.
Once Dr. Horowitz diagnoses your condition and agrees to work with you, she may recommend treatment. She provides natural, drug-free hands-on treatments, using the most up-to-date technologies.
When required, she prescribes and dispenses Custom Orthotics that are comfortable to wear and that can be transferred between different shoes. Dr. Horowitz will let you know if you do not require custom orthotics as well. Dr. Horowitz is a custom fitter for medical-grade compression socks and stockings, helping you to choose the correct size and products for your unique needs and preferences.

Dr Horowitz provided excellent service. She had me fill out a comprehensive medical questionnaire in advance of my visit and provided a thorough examination of my feet to determine what would best satisfy my needs. Finding the right Orthotist is a bit skeptical to me but Dr Leslie was very approachable and very detailed with the needs about my concern. She is focused in the treatment of my foot problem asides from insoles which she recommends.
